About Us


WISH Foundation officially became a non-profit organization on May 17, 2017. The organization was envisioned and came to fruition by five local residents of Arizona who had a vision to organize programs throughout the year to serve community for cultural, social, and educational needs.

Contributions to QCOs

Arizona provides tax credits for individuals who make contributions to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO). Individuals making cash donations made to these charities may claim these tax credits on their Arizona Personal Income Tax returns.Effective in 2016, credit eligible contributions made on or before the 15th day of the fourth month

Wish Foundation received a donation of $10,000 from Silambam Phoenix for charitable activities to children and homeless in Phoenix Community on the occasion of VIMSHATHI VAIBHAVA celebrating 20+ years of service for teaching and training of Bharatha Natyam. What We Do


WISH For Vision

WISH For Vision is a charity project providing assistance to deserving Arizona Public School students and the needy to obtain prescription eyeglasses. On Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, we hosted a WISH For Vision event


WISH For Education

WISH For Education will establish an educational endowment fund through donations from the community and use the earnings from the endowed investment to offer scholarships

WISH For Outreach

Wish for Outreach Program is modified to help Arizona residents and individuals in our community who have chronic illness or physical disability with transportation, food. clothing and temporary housing.

Announcement of Scholarship for Higher Education 2022-23

WISH awarded 6 scholarships in the year 2021-22 to assist seniors enrolled in University / college.

Again for 2022-23 academic year, WISH Foundation Arizona is very pleased to continue offering financial assistance to deserving Low income High School Seniors graduating in summer of 2022 from Arizona High Schools pursuing higher education in their chosen field in an accredited Arizona institution.

WISH welcomes application from high school seniors who meet the requirements for one of the 8 awards. No formal application form provided.

    Check list for applicants :

  1. Arizona resident Graduating from High School in summer of 2022
  2. A cover letter giving your name, address, email, contact information, with a list of supporting documents provided.
  3. Unweighted cumulative minimum GPA 2.50. Send copy of unofficial transcript
  4. Low Income. Send copy of 2021 tax form 1040 filed with IRS.
  5. Enrolled in accredited 4-yr university/ 2-yr community college in Arizona in fall of 2022 as freshman. Send copy of enrollment
  6. A 250-words essay supporting career Goal and Motivation.
  7. Minimum 40 hours of community service as volunteer in last 2 years. Provide contact info for the sponsor/mentor.

Wish Foundation Science Scholarship is founded by donations from Phoenix community donors and benefactors. This scholarship is to be awarded to a student interested in pursuing a career, with an aptitude for research in science, math or engineering disciplines and transitioning from high school to college. The scholarship awardee will receive a Certificate of Achievement and a Cash of $ 400.00. The scholarship is awarded annually.


Wish Foundation Academic Scholarship is founded by donations from Phoenix community donors and benefactors. This scholarship is to be awarded to a student interested in pursuing a career in higher education in any discipline and transitioning from high school to college. The applicant must have leadership skills and an aptitude for entrepreneurship as evidenced by his activities and volunteerism. Considerations will be given to financial need in addition to academic performance. The scholarship awardee will receive a Certificate of Achievement and a Cash of $ 400.00. The scholarship is awarded annually.


Chegu / Purushothaman living Trust scholarship fund is established with a donation from the trust in Virginia.. Ms.Lakshmi Purushothaman is the Vice president, Business Intelligence Services, Freddie Mac, McLean, Virginia and Mr. Ranapratap Chegu is the CEO and Co-Founder of Peridot Solutions LLC, McLean Virginia. The scholarship is intended for a student interested in pursuing a career in Science or Engineering with an aptitude for research, creative and scholarly activities and has shown a commitment to community service. Preference is given to females if there are strong candidates. The scholarship carries a cash reward of $ 400.00 and a Certificate of Recognition. It is awarded on an annual basis.


Herbert A Hauptman is a 1985 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry along with Dr. Jerome Karle of the Naval research Laboratory in Washington DC. Dr. Hauptman served as the President of Hauptman-Woodward Medical research Institute Inc in Buffalo, NY. He was also a Professor in Bio-Physics at the State University of New York in Buffalo. The scholarship in his honor is established by his student Dr. Narasinga Rao and Shobha Rao from the donations received from the friends and students of Hauptman. The scholarship is awarded to a high school student interested in pursuing a scientific research career. The scholarship carries a cash reward of $ 400.00 and a Certificate of Recognition. It is awarded on an annual basis.



Sandhya and Balaji Family Trust Scholarship Fund is established by Balaji Rangaswamy and Sandhya Seshadri in honor of their parents.Balaji is a manager at Michael and Susan Dell Foundation and Sandhya is a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Apple, Austin, Texas.The funds combine a generous donation by Balaji and Sandhya with matching funds from Dell Foundation. The recipient should be a student from an Arizona High School, holding a minimum GPA of 3.0 and coming from a family with an annual income at or below $ 45 K. The scholarship which will be awarded annually carries a cash award of $ 400 and a certificate of recognition.
